Learn of Me Discernment Retreat
Learn of Me is a women’s vocational discernment retreat hosted by the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration at Our Lady of Solitude Monastery in Tonopah, AZ. Each retreat focuses on a different theme that is relevant to the discernment journey. Learn of Me offers participants a unique encounter with the Poor Clares and their way of life.
Tentative Retreat Schedule
- 8 a.m. – Holy Mass
- 9:00 a.m. – Self-Serve Breakfast
- 9:30 a.m. – Welcome
- 10:15 a.m. – Reflection with Sr. Mary Fidelis
- 10:45 a.m. – Prayer and Processing time
- 11:45 a.m. – Daytime Prayer and Angelus
- 12 p.m. – Lunch & Fellowship
- 1 p.m. – Silence and Prayer
- 1:30 p.m. – Reflection with Sr. Mary Fidelis
- 2 p.m. – Q & A
- 3 p.m. – Coffee Break
- 3:30 p.m. – Eucharistic Holy Hour
- 4:30 p.m. – Sharing of Graces
- 5 p.m. – Retreat Concludes
Retreat Participants are encouraged to extend this retreat by arriving early! The Chapel opens at 7 a.m. Office of Readings and Morning Prayer will be prayed at 7:15 a.m. and concludes shortly before Holy Mass begins at 8 a.m.
Throughout the break times, the nuns will be available for one-on-one meetings to offer accompaniment in your discernment journey.
