Service & Parish Life Ministries
Our parish thrives because of the generous hearts of those who serve. We invite you to consider sharing your time and talents through our Service and Parish Life ministries. There are many meaningful ways to get involved. You can bring comfort and prayer by taking Holy Communion to the hospitalized and homebound, reminding them that they remain a cherished part of our parish family. You can also help at parish community events, assist in preparing or delivering meals to families in need, or support the parish by helping wash and care for altar linens.
Those passionate about protecting and celebrating life can participate in our Culture of Life efforts. There are many other opportunities—both big and small—where your gifts can make a difference. Whether you have a few hours a month or more time to give, your service strengthens our community and reflects Christ’s love in action. Join us and be part of something meaningful.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
This ministry provides a beautiful way to extend Christ’s love beyond the walls of the church. Through this ministry, trained Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion bring the Eucharist to parishioners who are unable to attend Mass due to illness, hospitalization, or being homebound. By carrying the Blessed Sacrament to them, ministers bring the real presence of Jesus, along with prayer, compassion, and the reassurance that they remain a valued part of our parish family.
These visits are often a great source of comfort and spiritual strength for those who cannot be physically present at the altar. A short visit, a prayer, and the gift of Holy Communion can bring peace, hope, and a deep sense of connection to the Church.
Extraordinary Ministers are carefully prepared and supported so they can serve with reverence and care. This ministry is a powerful way to share Christ’s presence and ensure that no member of our community feels forgotten or alone.
If you would like to volunteer we hold regular training sessions.
If you or someone you know need communion brought to them please also contact us to arrange this service.

Community & Parish Events
Parish community events are wonderful opportunities for us to gather, celebrate our faith, and strengthen the bonds that make our parish family so special. Throughout the year we host a variety of events such as our parish picnic, Snow Day, retreats, and many other gatherings that bring people of all ages together. These moments of fellowship do not happen without the generous help of volunteers.
Helping with parish events can include setting up tables and decorations, welcoming guests, assisting with activities, serving food, or helping with cleanup. Every role—big or small—helps create a warm and welcoming environment where people feel connected and valued.
Volunteering at these events is also a great way to meet fellow parishioners and build lasting friendships while serving the community. Whether you can help occasionally or regularly, your time and talents make a real difference. By working together, we create joyful experiences that strengthen our parish and reflect the spirit of hospitality and community.

Meals for Families in Need
Our Meal Support Ministry offers care and compassion to parish families going through difficult times. When someone experiences illness, a new baby, surgery, or another challenging moment, volunteers step forward to provide home-cooked meals and practical support. A simple meal can bring comfort, ease stress, and remind families that their parish community is walking with them.
We welcome volunteers who are willing to prepare or deliver meals when needs arise. Even occasional help can make a meaningful difference. If you would like to volunteer—or if your family is currently in need of meals—please contact the parish office. We are here to help and support one another.

Linens Ministry
The Linens Ministry is a quiet but important way to serve our parish community. Volunteers help by taking home parish linens after events, washing them, and returning them clean and ready for the next gathering. These linens are used for parish celebrations, meetings, and special occasions, and keeping them clean helps ensure that every event is welcoming and well prepared.
This ministry is simple, flexible, and can easily be done from home on your own schedule. It is a wonderful opportunity to support parish life in a practical way. If you would like to help with the Linens Ministry, we would love to hear from you.

Culture of Life
Our Culture of Life Ministry is dedicated to promoting and protecting the dignity of every human life from conception until natural death. This passionate pro-life group works to educate, support, and mobilize our parish community to stand for life in meaningful and compassionate ways.
Each year, the ministry helps organize parish participation in the March for Life, giving parishioners the opportunity to publicly witness to the value of every human life. They also coordinate baby bottle drives that raise funds to support mothers, babies, and life-affirming organizations.
In addition, the ministry leads our Care Portal efforts, connecting parishioners with families in our community who need practical assistance. Through this program, volunteers help provide essential items such as furniture, beds, and other necessities for those in need.
Through prayer, service, and advocacy, the Culture of Life Ministry strives to build a community where every person is valued, supported, and welcomed at every stage of life.

Sunday Donuts
Join your fellow parishioners for coffee and donuts in the Parish Hall after the 8 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Masses on Sundays (September through April). There is lemonade if you’re not a coffee drinker, and we’ll have lots of good conversation if you’re not into donuts. Most importantly, just take some time after Mass to visit with your parish family. (And don’t hide this fun opportunity from your kids!) We could always use more help, and the commitment is only once per month.
